Engineering basis & qualification status

Champion AM1.5 reference: 18.9%, Voc 0.768 V, Jsc 32.8 mA/cm², FF 75.1%. Assumed Vmp: 0.61 V. AM0 uses a provisional 1.361 irradiance factor, not a spectral-response conversion. Cold Voc omits irradiance-related voltage changes. EOL voltage and power losses are independent scenario inputs.

ETFE / polyolefin / CIGS / Tedlar: 1.4 mm nominal placeholder; ≤3 mm laminate target. Overlap, bussing, material grades and insulation require validation. Rigid option assumes 10 mm panel plus 0.2 mm bondline. Separate output pairs are grouped side by side at the center of the blanket’s narrow end. Bussing runs on the backside to this common integration location; outputs remain electrically separate unless shared return is selected. Module partitions are geometric manufacturing zones, not qualified independent electrical products.

Standards review: NASA-STD-4005, NASA-HDBK-4002/4006/4007 and applicable AIAA S-111/S-112 requirements. No compliance claim or automatic high-voltage clearance approval is made.

Pricing uses installed AM1.5 reference watts, not mission-dependent watts. Cutting waste is charged separately. Costs, lead time and mass are editable planning assumptions. No quantity discount or $100/W guarantee is assumed.
